NL MVP

The BBWAA votes Bryce Harper the NL MVP for 2015. It was an easy pick, and unanimous. Paul Goldschmidt finishes second. Joey Votto comes in third. There was consensus across the board.

Update: Here’s the voting. Jake Arrieta and Zack Greinke finished sixth and seventh respectively. They probably deserved a higher finish.

Update: Harper is asked about the haters, and he says he loves getting booed. It was a great response.

It’s the sensible reaction at this point–anyone who doesn’t acknowledge that Harper is one of the best players in the game by now is too dumb to be trusted with pointy utensils.
