Juan Lagares battles Kelvin Herrera with two out in the top of the eighth, fouling off a number of high-speed pitches before he singles to center. He then steals second to put himself in scoring position for Wilmer Flores.

Update: Flores bounces a ball to first, and the sure handed Eric Homser misses the ball for an error. That was an okay Bill Buckner impression. The Mets lead the Royals 4-3.
