Nothing to do with Baseball
Lone Star Ball examines how the cell phone has destroyed the sitcom. He uses as examples a number of Senfeld episodes that could never happen today, because a cell phone call solves the delimma of the half hour.
On the other hand, The Office uses the cell phone to great comic effect. Of course, that show is written by a former baseball blogger...
