Good to see that players are taking (coff, coff, steroids testing, coff, coff) better care of themselves.

In lieu of all these stories and reports, why don't we all just assume that every player either dropped 25 pounds if they were considered fat or gained 15 pounds of muscle if they were considered not fat. Save everyone a bunch of time.

from today's NYT and George Vecsey..

"You have to be a little skeptical, given the context of watching bodies change," Dr. Gary Wadler, an internist and member of the World Anti-Doping Agency, said Thursday. "The explanation then was that they were eating more and working out more. Now if you hear players say, 'We changed our ways,' all you can do is be suspicious."

"You got in shape - we're watching you!!"
Fascist bastard!

I can't wait for House Government Reform Committee meting where Richard Simmons is called testify.

Wadler is also grabbing people by the lapels in the streets if they are wearing the "Lose Weigth - Ask Me How" buttons.
