Whatever your views on "steroids" and baseball (or other sports) are, your readers should check out John's find. Should it really be so surprising?
MLBN just showed the 1960s segment of Ken Burns' Baseball last night, including Gibson's 1968 WS performance. So was it a gutty performance by a highly competitive guy or a hyped up performance by someone downing greenies & muscle relaxants. And how was that ok, but a possibly steroided up Clemens vs. Piazza WS encounter wasn't.
