Witness for the Prosecution

I didn't think much the latest witness against Barry Bonds until I read this.

Though you likely don't know who Hoskins is, this is important because she claims that she watched Greg Anderson inject Barry Bonds. She apparently doesn't know what Anderson injected Bonds with, but it's looking kind of bleak for Bonds, especially given Bonds' prior testimony that no one except his doctors ever injected him with anything.

It would be sad if prosecutors got Bonds on lying about being injected, rather than lying about actually using steroids.

Kathy Hoskins is the sister of Steve Hoskins. Bonds called the FBI on him and accused him of forging memorabilia and stealing from him.

Like Kim Bell, it will be "he said, she said"....by people that the defense can show have personal animus against Bonds.

Why would that be sad? I care far more about powerful people lying to the FBI than I do about PEDs.

Dave,

I take it then that you think Bill Clinton should have been convicted in his Senete Impeachment trial and should have been tried, convicted, and jailed after that for his lying under oath about "having sex with that woman".

If you don't agree with the above the shut the "F" Up!

Just to be clear the above reply is not to David Pinto but rather to the Dave of the second reply above.

Try to control your man crush on the lying cheating scumbag. When creeps are guilty them and their whacked out supporters always cry about being how unfair it is that they get held accountable for their actions.

B-dt:

I want any and all convictions to be done with proper conduct by the law enforcement officials involved. I care more about the balancing of the 1st, 4th, 5th and 6th amendment than who holds a home run record.

Bob,

Hear, hear.
And I am having no difficulty thinking Bonds is a scumbag while also being worried about how law enforcement is treating his case. I experience no cognitive dissonance.

God knows producing eyewitnesses to contradict the lying scumbag violates his right to beat the rap. Enjoy your fantasy world.

It's obviously a concern if the prosecution is more concerned with getting a conviction of any kind rather than dispensing even-handed justice.

Not saying that's necessarily what is happening here, but it seems like a distinct possibility.
