Manny for Three

Impacto Deportivo reports that Manny Ramirez is going to sign a three-year, $75 million deal with the Yankees. We'll see, but it would not surprise me. If they do sign Manny, however, they would probably need to deal away one or two of their surplus outfielders.

Hat tip, The FanHouse.

But I thought Manny left Boston because he couldn't relax there. Heh. As a Sox fan, I can't wait for Manny to ink with the Yankees... They can have Manny in his declining years, faking knee injuries and always wishing to take the month of September off. And I can't wait to see how Joe Girardi tries to manage him.

I betcha the contract won't last two years.

Ugh, no. Yankees don't need another subpar fielding older outfielder/DH.

'cause that Johnny Damon contract worked out so well for the Yankees? And they really need another old, poor fielding corner outfielder? There's some shortage of those?
