Bonds Watch

Just in case you're wondering, Barry Bonds hasn't retired. Since the Washington Nationals like to hire ne're-do-wells, maybe they can sign both Barry and Manny. Lots of balls would drop in the outfield, but the offense would be fun to watch.

An outfield of Bonds, Manny, and Dukes...no locker room on earth is big enough for that bunch.

I was thinking an outfield of Bonds, Manny, and Wily Mo. An adventure with every flyball! It does raise a philosophical question: can an outfield actually have a negative range factor?

Hmm--the Nationals could:

--put Bonds in left;

--put Manny in right;

--get Andruw Jones from the Dodgers and let the fat f***er earn his salary by running himself to death covering the space that The Barry and Manny can't.

AJ would lose a lot of weight running around or get injured. I'm leaning toward getting injured.

Come on, watching Bonds play again would be as irrestible as slowing down to see a car crash on the highway. Admit it, you would all tune in.

BTW, Cris Carter said on ESPN today that he wouldn't cross the street to watch 'roid users. He didn't add if cocaine users were included (cough).

Yeah, that Barry Bonds sure is a "ne're do well"-just never lived up to his potential.
