The Wrong Deal

If Dayton Moore makes the Zack Greinke for Jeff Francoeur deal, I'm never saying anything nice about the GM again. What happened to the "better OBA" plan?

Update: Craig Brown squashes the rumor.

You must be joking. Every other report coming from Vegas says that Moore is looking for 5 players for Greinke. Tony Mas is an idiot, don't make yourself an idiot by association.

The best part of the "rumor" is that the Braves don't want to make a deal until they know about Burnett. Yeah, because they have no clue how they could add both Burnett and Greinke to their very deep rotation. After all, Francouer had 71 RBI last year.

There's no way that can be true (one-for-one deal...). I really liked the first few months of Moore's tenure in KC, but the latest additions and rumors have me wondering what's happened to his ''plan''.

If this rumor is true, Kansas City should just be nuked to spare the city any further pain. But I'm guessing there's either more or less to this story.

Not true.

Masarotti is taking two old rumors and combining them into one.
