Waste of Time and Money

J.C. Bradbury comments on the latest HGH inannity. His conclusion:

I guess I can't blame MLB. It's the cheapest way to fight a public relations problem--that's all this is. And the sad part is that HGH's prohibition signals to potential users that it works, and the drug has many bad side effects. If anything, the war on growth hormone will do more harm than good. As I have suggested before, the best solution is to legalize it.

I agree.

Ahhh, scientists on vacation in Beverly Hills and on someone else's dime at a conference telling us that they need more money. It reminds me of the movie "Help" where Algernon (Roy Kinnear) describes Dr. Foot (Victor Spinetti)...

"Stop him? Me? It's more than my job's worth to stop him once he gets started. He's out to rule the world... if he can get a government grant."

And a summary of the known research into HgH last March stated there is no evidence that it helps.
