Outstanding Players
The Major League Players Association just sent me an e-mail announcing that Albert Pujols in the NL and Josh Hamilton in the AL won Outstanding Player of the Year. You can see interviews of the players here.

correction- Josh Hamilton- AL
Josh Hamilton wasn't even the best player on his team.
Ian Kinsler and Milton Bradley had fantastic years, but they each played less than 130 games, so I would argue that at the very least he was the best Ranger this year. I wouldn't have given it to Hamilton, but he was among league leaders in OPS+, runs created, HRs, total bases and the sportwriters's favorite, RBIs. For the season he was 5th in the AL in both Win Shares and VORP. I would give the nod to ARod, Sizemore or Pedroia, but it's not a horrible pick.
Add in Bradley DH'd all year and Kinsler was absolutely terrible at 2B. Hamilton's not willie Mays but at least he can play his position.
