Red Sox Win

The Red Sox take out the Angels three games to one. It came down the Angels not executing with runners in scoring position, not executing on defense, and not executing on a bunt with the go-ahead run 90 feet from home plate. With a little luck, this series could easily be going back to Anaheim.

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox! They'll be heading to Tampa Bay to take on the Rays on Friday. That should be a great one.

Correction: Changed first base to home plate.

Luck or competent play on the part of the Angels on any one or two of their many, many blunders. Just incredible to watch a team that outperformed its pythag by that much, a 100-win team that always seemed to win the close ones, do every little thing so completely wrong. Even happened last night in the game they eventually managed to win.

Bizarre. Sox-Rays should be a ton of fun though.

Wow what an exciting finish. I was afraid that the Sox were going to blow it again tonight. Too bad that Lester did not get the win that he deserved.

A 100 win team but in a truly sucky division. The AL East is so much stronger than the other divisions now it's crazy.

"... with the go-ahead run 90 feet from first base"

Huh?
