Second String Fling

Even with the replacements in the starting order, the Cubs still dominate the Cardinals. Cedeno, Pie and McGehee each picked up two hits as the Cubs won a meaningless game for them 5-1.

I'm in Chicago for work and decided to get here a day early and catch a game with friends... my first trip to Wrigley. The lineup was outrageous - Fukudome and 8 backups. One guy even had a BA of .000 going into the game. It was great to see Wrigley, but wow.

After we heard the Chicago lineup, I told my friends I was leaving to get my money back if Pujols wasn't playing for the Cards.

It's not meaningless. We still need another win to clinch home field advantage in NLDS and NLCS.
