Wake me when Baseball goes through it's correction. The money it takes to go to a game and have a decent time is ridiculous. I say blame player salaries initially. What's closer to the truth is that the price of a ticket to a game is undervalued. Teams aren't realizing their full profit potential. I say this because too many would think nothing of going on StubHub etc...and plunking down $1000 for a seat. Why should the Yankees charge (even) $250 for a seat behind home plate, have the purchaser of that ticket sell it on EBay etc..and make three and four hundred percent profit on the aftermarket? Now the Yankees are just cutting out the middle man and charging $2,500 for that seat in the new stadium. PAY BALL !!
I totally know this is a NY centric opinion. Or is it?
Is this snivelling on my part? Have and have nots?
Whatever.
i concur.
ny state of mind or not, its ridiculous.
