The Red Sox send up three batters and score three runs in the first as David Ortiz takes Scott Kazmir deep to score all the runs. Ortiz now has four home runs against lefties in 89 AB on the season.

Two batters later, Mike Lowell connects to make the Red Sox lead 4-0.

Update: Kazmir doesn't have it tonight as the Red Sox hit a total of four home runs against him. Following the fourth, he fails to cover first on a grounder and Ellsbury gets a hit. I wonder if he's sick? He's looked tired and sweaty all evening.

Say what you will about the Montreal Expos and their fans, when the team was a playoff contender for Omar's first two years, that stadium was selling 30K+ for August and September home games. The fact that the stadium in Tampa is nowhere near sold out and that the Sox fans are louder is a pathetic joke.

Those in Tampa that say they are sports fans should be ashamed.

Maddon was pissed after they gave out warnings when Kazmir hit Tek. He couldn't have his pitchers throw at guys like usual.
