Miguel Cabrera adds a home run, giving the Tigers 3-4-5 hitters four on the night. Ordonez, Cabrera and Sheffield combined so far for five hits and nine RBI as the Tigers lead the Athletics 12-3. Gio Gonzalez's ERA jumps to 9.32 as he allows eight earned runs in 1 2/3 innings.

Update: The A's comeback, scoring five runs so far in the fifth with six singles and a walk.

And in that game Mike Hessman tied a ML record by being HBP twice in the same inning. I only caught part of it on the radio, IIRC they said there was only one other player that happened to. I think it's same to assume that Hessman is the only Olympics medalist to have that happen to him.
