Jays Sweep Rays

David Purcey shuts out the Rays for eight innings as Toronto takes the game and the series 1-0. Matt Graza pitched almost as well. His only mistake as a double by Lind that turned into a run when Adam was able to advance to the plate on consecutive outs. Toronto is now 9 1/2 games out of first place and continue to put pressure on the Yankees for third place in the division.

The Rays go into Boston on Monday, a place they haven't won this season. They should have Longoria back in the starting lineup, however.
