Rays Slammed
Tampa Bay waited until the ninth inning to score, but they put up three against B.J. Ryan to tie the game. They then took a 4-3 lead in the 13th, leaving the game in the hands of Troy Percival. Troy recorded two outs but also loaded the bases. That set up Gregg Zaun to zoom the ball out of the park for a walk-off grand slam and a 7-4 Blue Jays victory. Tampa Bay is now just two games ahead of the Red Sox, and Toronto moves into a tie with the Yankees, pending the outcome of tonight's Mariners game.
