There's Always Brandon Morrow
Brandon Morrow made the transition from bullpen to rotation well, holding the Yankees hitless for 7 2/3 innings before Wilson Betemit doubled in Hideki Matsui, who reached via a walk. The Yankees fall 3-1 after, I believe, making the second longest trip possible in major league baseball travel, I believe, Tampa Bay to Seattle. Still, the Yankees waste a good performance by Andy Pettitte, who struck out 9 over seven innings of work.
On a lighter note, Matt Tuiasosopo debuted, doubling in four at bats. He's competing with Dustin Pedroia for most vowels per letter in his last name.

Not that it really matters, but Pedroia is 57% vowels and Tuiasosopo is 60% vowels. Also, using google maps and distances as the crow flies, following are the within the same league longest travel distances.
SF to NY - 2,574
SF to FL - 2,586
SF to DC - 2,437
SEA to BOS - 2,489
SEA to NY - 2,405
SEA to TB - 2,533
Many don't realize that SF is actually farther west than Seattle. The longest trip, by far, would have been if the Expos/Nationals stayed in Puerto Rico. That trip would have been 3,626.
Like I said, not that it really matters, but I was curious so I just had to find out.
