Brewers Win

Milwaukee pulled out the game in the 11th inning. A 1-6-3 double play in the top of the inning prevented San Diego from taking the lead, while a one-out single by J.J. Hardy iced the game for the Brewers. There's not a mention in the JSOnline story about Yost's poor managing. Also no mention that Counsell's feidler's choice in the eleventh was a failed bunt attempt (no arguing with the strategy there, just the execution).

Despite all that, things worked out well as Milwaukee gained a game on the Cubs, extended their lead on the Cardinals and kept the Phillies at Bay. Sometimes wins are just ugly.
