Things that should not Happen
I hope Sidney Ponson is properly embarrassed to have given up a home run to Adam Everett. Adam was hot, going 5 for 12 over his last six games, all singles. He came into the game slugging .319 on the season.

Yankees' offense needs to be even more embarrassed. First and third, no outs, and you don't score. Jeesh.
There is a HUGE list of things Ponson should feel embarrassed about. (Sorry, a bit off topic...)

The Twins score on a home run! By Adam Everett! This is a sure sign of the apocalypse.
Things later returned to normal. The Twins got a run on an infield single. Meanwhile, if the Yanks don't hit home runs, the Yanks don't score. They're nine games out of the division, five out of the wild card. The light is dimming.
Ponson actually did what they needed, kept them in the game and went 7.2. No xbh for NYY. I wonder how the Giambino likes sitting behind Richie Sexson? I wonder how Damon likes sitting behind Christian. I forgot Sandy Koufax was going.
