Take Her Out to the Ballgame
There's going to be a seminar for women to learn about baseball at Shea Stadium on July 26th. Sounds like fun, and you'll learn to score.
A game, that is.

Actually, this strikes me as a little condescending. Why does a baseball event for women have to mean TEACHING women about baseball? I already know how to score (... a game), and surely they could give out something Mets- or baseball-related rather than cocoa butter. Gah.
The A's have been doing this for years...another example of the Mets pushing the outside of the envelope.
Give me a break... condescending? It's tiring to hear people who try to find fault with the littlest things complain about what is sexist, racist, etc. Give it a rest and take it for what it is.
I'm glad you know how to score a game. But I'm pretty sure almost everybody has a female relative who likes baseball and would enjoy this opportunity to learn how to keep a scorecard. And its actually a tote bag, not cocoa butter.
Not that I'm trying in any way to defend the Mets organization... Isn't it funny how its the final season at Shea too and yet no one cares?
Nice to see the Met wives included, perhaps they will explain how they deal will philandering husbands banging groupies two at time.
I care, Alex. All that Yankee Stadium crap on the Sunday night broadcast was a sickening slap in the face.
