Nothing to do with Baseball

If you're a reader who lives in Massachusetts, you should take a look at SmallGovernmentAct.org. They've put a question on the November ballot aimed at ending the income tax in the state.

Do we know where this $3,600 a year is going to come out of?

Ugh, there's already a state for that. It's called New Hampshire. They're quite welcome to it. As for Ms. Howell, there's a reason we didn't vote for her as governor in 2000, and it wasn't just because she was shrill and annoying.

People try to live within their income so they can afford to pay taxes to a government that can't live within its income. ~Robert Half

LOL, they don't believe in small government in Taxachusetts. They like it as big and corrupt as possible.

Maybe because she was the Libertarian candidate and Mitt Romney was running?

We already voted for a tax cut several years ago and the legislature just raised it back to what it was. So even if this passes I'd expect they'll do it again. But it'd be great theater.

The same (?) ballot initiative got over 40% in 2000.
