Oops No No

Jered Weaver is tossing no-hitter through five innings, but losing 1-0. Two errors and a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning plated a run for the Dodgers. Billingsley allowed just one hit so far.

Arredondo relieved Weaver in the seventh. It's in the bottom of the eighth now, still no hits, still losing 1-0. The Angels have one more chance to score, otherwise, it's could be a short (but unofficial) combined no-hitter.

It stayed that way. Dodgers won 1-0 without the benefit of a hit. Weird.

Also, the Angels don't get credit for the no-hitter, as they only pitched 8 complete (they were the away team).

...thus the "(but unofficial)" comment above. Reading = power! (it's late).
