I initially thought the Dodgers had signed Proctor at Torre's behest. I had to be reminded that he came to them in the Betemit deal last season, before Torre's arrival.
He's the second coming of Tanyon Sturtze.
Proctor thought he was safe, being on the other side of the country. When Torre came aboard, Scott's arm started weeping.
