Middle Infield Power

Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla lead a Marlins attack that scored nine runs so far today. The shortstop Ramirez hit two home runs and drove in four, while second baseman Uggla doubled twice and drove in three. Both now have .388 OBAs and both are slugging over .500, with Uggla over .600. Coming into today, the Marlins ranked third in the National League in runs per game at 4.92, amazing for a team that lost Miguel Cabrera.
