Three Comebacks

Three teams tied their games in their last at bats to force extra innings, and all three won. The Mets fell behind 6-5 in the 12th inning, but scored twice in the bottom of the frame to take a 7-6 victory over the Marlins. The Mets gain a game on the Fish in the series, and Philadelphia now trails Florida by 1/2 game.

The Twins scored five in the ninth and one in the tenth to extend Kansas City's losing streak to ten games. That has to be an extremely demoralizing loss for the Royals as the bullpen couldn't hold a five run lead for one inning.

The Cubs scored in the bottom of the ninth on a Soto sacrifice fly to tie the Dodgers at one, then Soriano singled in Fontenot, who had doubled, to win the game for the Cubs 2-1. The Cubs hold the Dodgers to one run in each of their three games, and the Dodgers have scored just eight runs in their last six games.
