Beltran Blow

Carlos Beltran doubles with the bases loaded in the first inning to drive in three runs and give New York an early lead. Tatis follows with a single as the first five Mets reach base. Beltran's power is down this season. His doubles are fine, but he's not hitting home runs yet.

Update: Nick Evans makes his debut for the Mets and doubles in a run to extend the Mets lead to 5-1 in the first. Seven of the first nine batters reached base so far.
