Early Lead

The Braves are off to a 3-1 lead against the Mets in the middle of the fifth. Castillo hit a first inning home run for New York, but in typical Glavine fashion, the Mets haven't recorded a hit since the first. Chipper Jones is one for two with a run scored, raising his batting average to .411.

Update: Jones walks and Teixeira picks up an infield single to chase Maine with none out in the bottom of the fifth.

Update: Jones scores another run on a Johnson sacrifice fly. Jones has 33 runs and 31 RBI on the season.
