Will Webb Win?
Brandon Webb is out of the game against the Rockies, but the bullpen is trying it's best to blow the game. With the score 8-3 in the top of the ninth, Medders loaded the bases, setting up a save situation for Lyon. He's allowed two inherited runners to score so far while recording one out. The tying run is at the plate for Colorado.
Update: Lyon strikes out Barmes for the second out. It's up to Holliday.
Update: Holliday grounds out to third to end the game. Webb goes to 9-0, winning all nine games he started. This now makes 20 wins fairly likely. Webb should have 25 starts left. For his career, he gets decisions in 75% of his starts, which would give him 19 more decisions this season. With a .573 career winning percentage, he should win 11 or those 19. So if Webb just returns to his career norms, he'll still wind up with a great season in term of Ws.

I think he's got 25 wins in him at this point.
Bet you $20 he finishes with 19.
Looking at the schedule, he seems to have three more starts in May--if he's 12-0 by June 1st we'll begin to see furtive whispers of "thirty" in print and online, which will not fade until he gets a few losses or no-decisions.
