Still No Support
The Blue Jays/Indians game remains scoreless after seven. Marcum is out-pitching Lee, having given up 1/3 of the hits and no walks (Lee actually walked a batter tonight). At some point, I'm going to need to do a game score analysis to see how often the Jays starter posted the better number and didn't win.

A quick bit of B-R searching seems to show only 3 times this season.
April 18, David Purcey's 51 got a no decision against Kenny Rogers' 49.
April 26, Shaun Marcum's 62 lost to Luke Hochevar's 57.
May 6, AJ Burnett's 43 lost to Andy Sonnanstine's 37.
Which would seem to suggest that when Toronto's starter pitches really well, either the Jays do win or the opposing starter is just better.
And against this line-up, it's not hard for the opposing pitchers to be better.
