Back to the Colt 45's

Maybe the Astros should change their name back to the 45's, since they picked up a lot of singles today.* Down 3-1 in the eighth, the first five hitters singled to plate three runs. A double and sacrifice fly added three more and the Astros went on to an 8-5 win over the Dodgers. All in all, eight of the Astros ten hits went for singles today.

*I suspect the some of the younger members of the audience might not get the reference.

It was even worse than you relate. Kuroda had a no-hitter through 6 2/3 innings. The Dodgers went from no-hitter to three-run loss in two innings. I've rarely been so frustrated as a fan.

I was stoked about it...but I'm an Astro fan.

Maybe you should slow down there and set the record player to Jose Lima: 33 in a third of an inning.
