Gabbard Hurt Again?
Kason Gabbard just left the Rangers/Mariners game with two out in the fourth and a 4-0 lead. After a walk, an infield single and error, there's runners on second and third. He only threw 63 pitches, but he looked hurt walking off the field.
Update: There was a brawl, and Gabbard was in the middle of it.
Update: It started when Gabbard threw at Sexson, and Richie charged the mound.
Update: Comments from people who saw the pitch say Gabbard did not throw at Sexson. I'm watching the Seattle feed, and they seemed to indicate Gabbard threw at him, although they were a bit ambiguous about it.
Update: FSN Northwest finally showed the replay in the bottom of the sixth. The pitch from Gabbard was head high, but right over the middle of the plate. It was no where near hitting Sexson.

He was pitching pretty well, as he has all year so far.
He's only hurt because that worthless piece of crap Ritchie Sexson charged the mound for no reason whatsoever. He should be suspended for a week. It's not like he'd be missed...
And this is after King Felix hit two Rangers!
A pathetic display by the Mariners.
It is at times like this that I wish the MLB box scores recorded ejections.
And Gabbard didn't throw at Sexson. The ball was high, but right over the middle of the plate. It was a foot away from him.
If it was retaliation for the two beaned Rangers, why did Gabbard go after a .200 hitter? It makes no sense.
Gabbard did not throw at Sexson. Both the Fox Pitch Tracker and MLB's Gameday showed the ball was over the plate.
David, you mean the Seattle announcers are actually siding with the actions of the team that pays them? Say it isn't so!!!
You should hunt down the feed from the Rangers booth. It's priceless!!!
Watch the video on Sportscenter. Judge for yourself. High, but not inside. Sexon should be ashamed of himself for throwing a helmet before a punch. Sad part is that a pitcher is out of the game and injured because of a .200 hitter that can't judge a high pitch over the plate. I'm kind of biased and angry, but I'd throw at him every plate appearance until he wised up and apologized. No apology and he's just a washed up waste of space. Send him to the minors.
the best comment from the Rangers booth? Easy - a fired up ex-Ranger player/GM Tom Grieve...
"Why would you hit Sexson? He couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat"
or when he called him a girl for throwing his helmet
or when he apologized to girls for comparing them to Sexson
PRICELESS
Sexson was looking for an excuse. When I saw it happen live, I didn't know about the other guys who got pegged. I really don't think Gabbard was throwing at him, but I do believe the pitch had a message. Richie ducked so fast, he probably didn't realize just how far it was from him.
Gabbard left with a pretty good limp going, so that could be very bad news.
ANother hi(lo)lite was Milton Bradley picking up Laird and carrying him off. Umm, Milton, didn't, umm, ya, never mind, I guess you forgot about Buddy Black blowing out your knee.
