Dustin McGowan and Javier Vazquez refuse to yield to the hitters. McGowan just finished the seventh inning, allowing just three hits while striking out six. Vazquez is through six, allowing just five hits while striking out six. Neither pitcher has walked nor hit a batter. A great pitching duel, and both teams wait for one of these pitchers to make a mistake.
Update: Just as the post was saving, Matt Stairs leads off the seventh with a home run to right center. It's only the second home run Vazquez allowed this season. The Blue Jays lead the White Sox 1-0.
