It Curtains for You, Carlos!
I'm going to go out on a limb here and state that Carlos Delgado not taking a curtain call isn't the biggest problem facing the Mets right now.

Jesus, I cannot believe the media is trying to make a big deal out of this. I have contempt for them.
I second that, Jeff. Several Met fanblogs have been running polls, thousands of votes logged. 80 to 90% of the fan base say it is a not event, yet the papers and talkradio idiots keeping banging the drums. Will the media ever check themselves? Today would be a great time. Zito moved to the bullpen, how many NY talking heads and writers took Omar to task for passing? NY sports media was 90% in concensus re Yanks bring the Unit in, how did that work out?
I saw Willie Aikens do this during the last days of the 1982 pennant race. he was ticked off at the boos and said "enough". it is no big deal. as a matter of fact, it would be nicer if pitchers started drilling batters after the "look at me" home runs which are not historic or game changing. (I do not condone throwing at batters simply because you can't get them out - you stink and should be sent to AAA in that case).
Why deal with psycho/schizo fans wishes 24/7?
