Seven Inning Game
Chamberlain and Rivera combine for a perfect 8th and 9th innings as the Yankees earn a split with Cleveland 5-2. Rivera is now 8 for 8 in save opportunities and the Yankees have won all ten games in which he's appeared. With the Orioles game not counting and Tampa Bay and Boston off, the Yankees pick up 1/2 game on the three leaders and are now one game over .500 and one game out of first place.

Looks like the Yankees are going to have to find a way to win some of the other 120ish games Mariano and Joba aren't closing out.
