Vazquez Denied

Javier Vazquez pitched a great game this afternoon. He did everything right. He stretched out 100 pitches over eight innings. He struck out seven and walked just one. He allowed four hits, one a solo home run to Huff for the only Baltimore run against him. Jenks, however, tasked with holding a 2-1 lead, allowed a double, steal and single to tie the game and send the contest into extra innings. That's his second blown save of the season.
