Run-Walk Disconnect

Jeremy Bonderman pitched poorly this afternoon. He walked six batters in five innings and allowed five hits, including a homer, but only allowed three runs, two earned. The Tigers turned two double plays behind him, and three on the day. That wasn't enough for the win, however, as the McGowen and the Jays pen made the three runs stand up for a 3-2 Toronto win.

Bonderman has now walked 14 batters this season in 22 2/3 innings. That's way off his career average of one walk every three innings.
