Diamondbacks Sweep

The Arizona Diamondbacks staged a sixth inning comeback to defeat the Dodgers 4-3 and sweep the three-game series. Listening to the Diamondbacks announcers, they pointed out that the hitters on Arizona are approaching counts better. Mark Reynolds drove in a run with the bases loaded, grounding a ball down the first base line on a two-strike pitch. Their assessment was that last season, Reynolds would have swung for the fences instead of trying to put the ball in play.

Whatever the reason, it's working for the DBacks as they go to 7-2 and open a two game lead in the NL West.
