Two Hit Royals
The Royals win their home opener over the Yankees 5-2. Six Kansas City batters each picked up two hits in the game for their twelve hit total. Just as importantly, they picked up five walks as well. That's something they haven't done well this season, as they came into the game with just eight in six games.
The Yankees put people on base, picking up seven hits and five walks, but none of the hits went for extra bases.
