McGowan Still In

McGowan gets in trouble in the sixth as the first three batters reach on a double, HBP and walk. That brings up A-Rod. McGowan is at 90 pitches, but he's tossing a shutout and Gibbons stays with him. He strikes out Alex Rodriguez, but a wild pitch during the plate appearance plates a run. Giambi hits a sac fly to tie the game, but Abreu is out trying to go to third, a poor play.

Hughes is out now. He allowed four hits and a walk through five while striking out four. Both runs were earned.
