Early Look

Joe Lavin got his hands on a copy of Canseco's new book and provides spoilers. Since it's a humor column, I don't know if it's made up or not.

Hat tip, FanHouse.

Update: The post appears to be real. A-Rod was asked about both accusations and gave a no comment to both. Alex is a lot smarter than Roger Clemens when it comes to keeping his mouth shut about things that might get him in trouble.

Update: River Ave. Blues still thinks it's a joke.

A-Rod trying to sleep with Canseco's wife.....Mike Wallace inquiring about steroids and HGH for his own personal use.....hilarious

Maybe Debbie Clemens kept Roger away from that infamous party because she wanted to keep him away from Jose Canseco's wife?

Did Mike Wallace want HgH so he could hit on her also?

I like the Mike Wallace comment, that's great.

It's not that Mitchell shaded things for the Red Sox, it's that the only sources he had available were NYC clubhouse attendants.

Can you imagine the reaction in the Yankees clubhouse to admitting you helped the RSox get steroids? They were the team least likely to appear in the report, even if it had been written by Howie Spira.

Using Mitchell was silly, anyway. It should have been somebody with zero connections to any team. Not to mention that you imported all of Mitchell's political baggage, and he brought no particular investigative talents to the table.

But he was a Bud buddy.

By the way, Mike Wallace's secret is the hair dye. It contains an anti-senility compound that seeps through the scalp directly into the brain. Canseco told me about it at the barbecue, and I've got a lie detector test to prove it.

Why is Mike Wallace inquiring about steroids and HGH for his own personal use odd/hilarious/improbable? He is not trying to hit the ball, just fight the effects of aging. It's a logical question if Wallace accepts Canseco as an informed source.

Didn't anyone pick up on the fact that the book is due to be released April 1? April fool's day? It's an early April fool's joke.

This is Gold!! I hope this is true. Mike Wallace on the roids!

It is true, multiple media sources have received copies of the book.
