Is there a way of weighting the results?

My instinct is that results in split squad games should matter less than full squad games (less major league player participate). Also, games early in the spring should matter less than late spring games (for the same reason). As far as that goes, ideally, we would want a percentage of major leaguers in each game and use that to weight the corresponding result.

I am not sure how the weighting would actually work. Maybe it can't be done. But it seems that a game played by mostly A and AA guys will be less of an indicator of the regular season than a game featuring the opening day lineup.

Winning games with AA players does show the organization has depth.
