The Eyes Have It
Jason Kendall is seeing the ball better after laser surgery:
"I feel like I'm 18 again," Kendall said of his vision improvement. "I'm picking up the rotation on the ball like I used to."
That's good news for the Brewers.

now lets see him get his bat speed back like he was 18 years old.
I wonder if getting LASIK, etc. will ever be considered performance enhancing....and be regulated somehow...hmm....
Maybe he just "misremembers" what it is like to pick up the rotation like an 18 year old. The procedure is clearly and self-admittedly enhancing his performance already. I smell scandal.
Maybe he'll hit a homer this year.
There should be a study done with before and after stats for players getting corrective eye surgery (or contacts).
Yeah,
Just wait until some 19 year old gets elective tommy john surgery to put a few more mph on the fastball or more snap on the curve without having to sit on the bench. I wrote this back in 2004:

Sound familiar?
