Summing Up the Hearing
Not much changed since halftime. Roger Cossack on ESPN believes the federal government will investigate Clemens for perjury. However, Cossack doesn't believe there's not enough evidence to ever convict Roger.
So it's up to you to make up your own mind. I'm wondering how much Pettitte's testimony weighs in your thoughts. It clearly pushed Rep. Cummings over the edge.

will andy be asked about his truthfulness to his wife - and his girlfriend in spring training?
Ouch
Pettitte's words give credibility to the undeserving McNamee but he should have been there to back them up
Pettitte's affidavit and Knoblauch's deposition both reaffirm McNamee's statements. It was hard while watching not to question the credibility of both witnesses. Clemens' answers failed the smell test on his wife's use, the nanny issue and on why McNamee's testimony wasn't truthful with regard to Roger when it is with regard to Andy and Chuck. McNamee isn't the kind of friend you want.
I was terribly disappointed that someone didn't press Clemens and Mitchell's representative when they both indicated baseball is moving in the right directions with regard to drug testing.
Point blank question: if there is a reliable blood test for HGH would you and every major league baseball player subject himself to the testing. If not, why not?
Time to look forward, not sure we'll ever reconcile the testimony of these two.
Bill
Is there any place to listen to a replay on line?
