Brocking Down Bonds
The Brock6 system nailed most of the rest of Bonds career after the 1996 season, but fell short on home runs.
The Brock6 system seems incredibly accurate! The results are incredibly telling. Asterisk? Indeed.
The homers and 24 points of batting average. It nailed his counting totals but way overestimated his at bats...if you had slugging and OBP there, the full picture of how far he diverged from projections would be obvious.
Geoff is right, though, that the system was always overoptimistic about his steals.
The end comment is pretty funny though ;)
still though, people need to remember that juiced or not, Bonds is clearly a abosalutely brain dead first round inner circle hall of famer and probably the most dominating offesnive force since intergration and was essentially a mortal lock by 1996 anyway.
Juiced or not, he should get in on the first ballot.
