Lower Costs, Raise Prices

The Marlins are raising ticket and parking prices. The more I read about this team, the more I'm convinced the other 29 clubs should remove Loria from the club.

I think I remember reading somewhere that in the owners agreement they can vote to remove another owner for any actions deemed detrimental to the game, but I don't think it has ever been invoked. This seems like a good time to do it though.

Glenn,

He's a clown, for sure, but I think it would be tough to prove that his actions have been "detrimental to the game". He's got a right to run his business however he sees fit.

I guess the fact that the Marlins have any fans at all proves what a great game baseball is, considering how they've been mistreated by the variuos Marlins' ownership groups.

Remove him why???? So he can do it again with another team? This is already team two for him.

True enough, it may be just wishful thinking on my part, but when you disrupt the competititve balance of your league, somethin' ain't right, as they say.
