Bad Day in the Bronx

ESPN is reporting that Clemens will be named in the Mitchell report, along with other Yankees:

The source said McNamee told investigators he supplied Clemens with steroids while Clemens was witih the Yankees, and prior to Clemens joining the team.

Also, The Bergen (N.J.) Record, citing a baseball industry official, says "several" prominent Yankees will be named in the Mitchell report. The paper said the source spoke to a third party who had seen the final report.

"It's going to be a rough day in the Bronx," the paper quoted the source as saying.

This will only add to calls that Mitchell, who is associated closely with the Red Sox, was biased.

I bet there won't be any Red Sox's names in the report. When Mitchell who is leading the investigation is paid by the Red Soxs....what do you think. With the Yankees being their biggest rival, I could guess there would be several Yankees named. The report means NOTHING!

There will probably be former redsox in the report (Clemens, Mo Vaughn, maybe Nomar) , but not as likely current ones like Ortiz, Manny, Lowell and Youkilis.

Sam, you're a moron. Nomar and Veritek are both on the list.

Was Clemens held to the drug testing policy each offseason that he "retired"? And, if not, would he have enough time to clear the steroids from his system before being eligible for testing?

Wow! This is amazing! Who would EVER have thought that a guy who is paid by the Red Sox would "find" Yankees who took steroids. UNBELIEVABLE!

This is at least the third time Clemens' name has been publicly linked to steroids. Easy with the outrage, everybody.

If the Deadspin list is correct, I think the Sawx come off much much worse than the Yankees.

Sheffield, Giambi, Clemens were all pretty much out before now. Along with Garciaparra, Alexander, and Nixon -

The thing that's kind of bogus is if this is a partial list how'd they decide who is on and who is off? If you suck and used steroids you'r enot on the list, generally?
