Unhappy Holliday

Matt Holliday makes up for Clark's miscues with one of his own. With Blum at second after a single and a wild pitch, Giles sends a ball the opposite way, deep to left. Holliday starts in, then can't get back in time to make the catch. Blum scores and the game is tied at six in the middle of the eighth.

What a game! A little of everything and a tight contest to boot. Just what you want for the last game of the regular season.

Update: Holliday gets a chance to redeem himself with a man on second with two out in the bottom of the eighth.

Update: Bell strikes out Holliday to end the inning. They go to the ninth tied at sixth.
