Post-Season Rays
The Devil Rays have three affiliates doing well in the post-season. That's a very good sign for the future of the organization.

The Durham Bulls have been good for the past 7 years, including 2 international league championships in 2002 and 2003.
It doesn't always translate well in the major league success. Although it would be interesting to track the correlation between success in the minor league level and success at the major league level within a franchise.
The Rays themselves have been pretty hot the last couple of weeks.
I would say there is a better correlation between the success of a franchise's Single-A and Double-A affiliates and how that translates to the majors. I would think AAA has little correlation.
the reason is, A and AA rosters are made up mostly of prospects, while AAA rosters can often be the retirement homes for career minor leaguers and former major leaguers.
I dont know the exact number but the Durham Bulls this season have a number of players in their 30s. These guys will perform well at the AAA level and may never contribute at the major league level, while young players that dominate at A and AA have a better chance.
